Breitling ranks ahead of Rolex
Of course, this does not apply to the quantity sold and the turnover generated. But when it comes to the "Best Employers 2025" ranking in Switzerland, which is published every year by Handelszeitung, PME and Statista, Breitling ranks sixth, two places ahead of the top dog of the luxury watch world.
For the 7th time, the Swiss workforce chose their 250 favourite companies out of 1,500. And in the watches and jewellery category, Breitling once again came out on top, followed by Rolex (8th in the overall ranking), Victorinox (14), Richemont (20), LVMH (24), Patek Philippe (94) and The Swatch Group (202).
"Breitling is once again in the top 10 most popular employers in Switzerland. According to the Handelszeitung study, we are number 6 of the 250 most popular companies in Switzerland and number 1 in the luxury sector. Bravo to our team for creating such a positive environment for all our team members," comments Breitling CEO Georges Kern.
The ranking, which is updated annually, is based on a survey of 15,000 Swiss employees, conducted by Handelszeitung and PME as well as various online panels. More than 1,500 employers with at least 200 employees in Switzerland were identified from previous years' data and extensive research in 19 sectors. The ratings were collected between May and July 2024 and included over 200,000 assessments that were incorporated into the ranking.
