Watches for ELA: One-of-a-kind pieces from Alpina, Frédérique Constant, and Mauron Musy
On November 9, 2026, Watches for ELA will once again bring together watchmaking and philanthropy in Geneva. As part of its Rare Watches Auction, Christie’s will auction exceptional one-of-a-kind pieces and special editions to benefit ELA International. The proceeds will support research into leukodystrophies and assist affected families.
Among the participating brands are Alpina, Frédérique Constant, and Mauron Musy. Three brands, three very different watches—and three “Pièces Uniques” that demonstrate just how uniquely a shared occasion can be interpreted through the art of watchmaking.
Alpina: Art Deco in Salmon
Alpina has created a one-of-a-kind Heritage Alpiner Carrée Automatic for the auction. A salmon-colored dial, a rectangular polished steel case, and a black-gray ostrich leather strap emphasize its Art Deco character. The combination of Arabic numerals, a railway-style minute track, and differently finished dial surfaces echoes the design language of the 1930s.

The case measures 32.5 × 39 millimeters. Inside, the automatic AL-530 caliber operates with a 38-hour power reserve and 28,800 vibrations per hour. A sapphire crystal case back offers a view of the movement; the engraving “Watches for ELA” commemorates the special occasion.
Frédérique Constant: World Time in Cherry Red
Frédérique Constant contributes a unique Classic Worldtimer Manufacture. Its cherry-red dial and color-coordinated leather strap are paired with a bezel set with 70 diamonds. The world time display allows you to see the time in 24 reference time zones simultaneously; the two-tone ring distinguishes between day and night.

The new automatic in-house caliber FC-719 offers a 72-hour power reserve at a frequency of 4 Hz. All functions are set via the crown. The new model omits the date display in favor of a clearer layout. The case has a diameter of 40 millimeters and is water-resistant to 5 ATM.
Mauron Musy: Hope Becomes Visible in the Dark
Mauron Musy calls his one-of-a-kind piece “Hope.” In daylight, the dial appears as a deep blue gradient. In the dark, the Super-LumiNova-coated surface glows, while the unlit word “Hope” at six o’clock stands out in contrast. The lettering is based on Christophe Musy’s handwriting.

The special MU06 UniX features a 41-millimeter case made of Grade 5 titanium. The patented nO-Ring technology ensures mechanical water resistance up to 100 meters without the need for O-rings. The watch is powered by the in-house automatic MM02 caliber with a micro-rotor.
Auction on November 9 in Geneva
The three models were created specifically as one-of-a-kind pieces for Watches for ELA. They will be offered at the Christie’s auction on November 9, 2026, in Geneva; Mauron Musy states that the November Rare Watches Auction will begin at 1:00 p.m. The focus, therefore, is not on a regular series launch, but rather on the joint commitment of the participating houses.
ELA International advocates for families affected by leukodystrophies and supports research. Watches for ELA brings together the art of watchmaking and the support of collectors to further this cause.
